Come to the Table

Come to the Table PlayCome to the Table is a play that celebrates St. Paul Reformation Lutheran Church’s 125th anniversary. Written by William Randall Beard, member of St. Paul-Reformation and the Wingspan Steering Committee, it was first performed as a church pageant, using a few professional actors and a wealth of congregational members, in October 2008. Come to the Table vividly portrays the congregation’s history from it’s very early decision to hold services in English to include those who weren’t Norwegian, to its decision in the 1950’s to include African Americans and on to its decisions since the 1980’s to pursue a full welcome for GLBT persons.
