BUILT IN HOPE
113 years ago, faithful Christians in St. Paul built St. Paul-Reformation's current building as the Lutheran Church of the Reformation. Through various mergers and consolidations of ministry, St. Paul-Ref became what we know today: a congregation that is built in hope, grounded in faith, and making a difference in this city and world for good. As our "Built in Hope, Renewed in Faith" Campaign begins, we hope you will take some time to learn about what the Campaign encompasses, how we hope to meet these goals, and how you can help.
Renewed in Faith
St. Paul-Reformation remains committed to this building and the ministries that happen here as visible signs of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are called in faith to accompany, work for good, and preach Good News in a world that is seeking safe harbors of peace and hope. In an age of diminished institutional strength, the Church remains "built in hope" and "renewed in faith," always being renewed in faith by the Holy Spirit who calls us to welcome and seek the good of all.

Timeline
With a building that is 113 years old come significant challenges of upkeep, maintenance, and care. To be good stewards of this place and support the ministries that occur here, SPR has taken the following steps as we prepare to launch this campaign:
-
In the summer of 2025, the Parish Council contracted with Mark Davy & Associates to conduct a Feasibility Study to determine interest and ability within the congregation to fund this work.
-
In August of 2025, the Feasibility Study was completed which you can read here. In it, the congregation expressed both the willingness and the ability to fund the campaign.
-
September 28, 2025: Q & A on the Feasibility Study and Capital Campaign during Adult Forum time at 9:10 a.m. (Tidemann Hall);
-
